At the last minute, I’ve remembered Star Wars Day! I’m posting this slightly early since I don’t post on Sundays.
As I wasn’t able to make a Star Wars inspired dress this year, I have several sketches for you instead. I won’t say much about them, but these drawings are from 2020. During this time, I was particularly practicing my own illustration style, which is slightly more realistic than traditional Disney animation, but tries to keep to the same overall aesthetic.
The first image, however, is one of the few I’ve done from a photo; and it’s one of even fewer good results! I drew my own version of her outfit and hairstyle, as I did with the second illustration.
Have a fun and blessed Star Wars Day!
Thank you for reading! Windflower is fully supported by its audience. Instead of buying me a coffee, you can purchase my novels or leave a donation which will go towards the purchase of fabric for interactive projects, where you’ll be able to vote on what historical dress or film costume I’ll recreate! Donations also help to continue creating Windflower’s content and to support the local Latin Mass.
