We’re going to have a bit of fun today, that is, if you like polls. (Also, fiction.) I think I had a bit of a Substack birthday celebration last year, if I recall correctly; so I’ll make it a tradition!
I appreciate all of you and am honored to be able to share at least some of my work with you. Although I have fiction paywalled, I’m going to release One story of your choosing!
I’m putting the poll in twice, so don’t be confused! Sometimes when I vote in a poll, I wish I could make two choices (does that defeat the purpose somewhat?), and I’ve noticed that Substack currently doesn’t let me change my mind about my answer, especially if I’ve accidentally selected something. So, if either case is true for you, go ahead and put in a second answer!
If you’re not a subscriber, I don’t think you’re able to vote in the poll. If this is the case, feel free to leave a comment below with your vote (and maybe consider subscribing so you don’t miss anything.)
I’ll count up the replies in one week’s time and will report on the result.
Please note, the latter two options in the poll are projected upcoming serials for the summer/fall seasons. Regardless of when the release date may actually be, if one is selected, I will remove the paywall on it.
For anyone who is new here, Option A is a semi-noir mystery revolving around 1930’s Egyptomania;
Option B is an intergalactic mythic-fantasy, leaning more towards a traditional fantasy that simply happens to be set in space;
Option C is a spin-off from the Ransom science-fiction/fantasy series;
And lastly, Option D is the sequel to In the Shadows of the Lilac, a mystery series revolving around the Catholic view of ghosts.
Windflower is fully supported by its audience. Instead of buying me a coffee, you can purchase my novels or leave a donation which will go towards the purchase of fabric for interactive projects, where you’ll be able to vote on what historical dress or film costume I’ll recreate! Donations also help to continue creating Windflower’s content and to support the local Latin Mass.
Please consider liking, subscribing and sharing with your friends. Thank you, and God bless!

Option A or D as Egyptomania sounds cool as does the Ghost idea.
