What a lovely piece. I believe older fashions hold the key to actually growing a realistic fashion industry. People thought about the beauty and purpose of clothing. A lot of that thinking is still extremely valuable. I own a few older fashion monographs, myself. I just find this type of thing fascinating. Thank you for allowing me to read that wonderful examination of Easter fashion.
I agree! We've lost so much, I think, just in fashion, and fashion truly affects the mindset of the individual and society. I'm always puzzled by modern fashion shows, whenever I see photos from them. Everything seems to be ugly and designed for shock value, not for actually being purchased and worn, unless it's a wedding dress.
You are most welcome! I might have to occasionally post about vintage fashion again, since it's been a while.
So cool. The Edwardian era is one of my favorites when considering fashion.

I have a vintage evening wear collection, so you are preaching to the choir. Any posts you do on this subject will be relished. Thanks again.
